Corazón Puro is an organization dedicated to awakening and accompanying leaders, beginning with Latino youth and young adults, in areas of great need.
Corazon Puro is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Specialist to provide part-time support focused on maintaining and updating our websites and mobile application, and offering technical assistance to users, particularly during evenings and weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys solving problems in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Website Maintenance & Updates
Regularly update content, images, and resources on all organizational websites
Ensure websites are secure, functional, and optimized for performance
Collaborate with content teams to publish time-sensitive updates
App Support & Maintenance
Assist with basic app updates, content changes, and testing new features
Coordinate with developers for technical issues or feature improvements
Ensure app functionality aligns with organizational goals
User Support
Provide timely technical support to staff and app users during evenings and weekends via email, phone and zoom
Troubleshoot common issues related to the website, mobile app, and user access
Maintain a log of support issues and resolutions and develop FAQ for the website
Technical Assistance
Assist with backend tasks like updating plugins, monitoring server uptime, or reviewing logs (as needed)
Recommend and implement minor tech improvements for web/app platforms

Requirements:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of website management (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or other CMS)
Familiarity with mobile apps (iOS and Android) and basic troubleshooting
Experience providing technical support (IT helpdesk, user support, etc.)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and respond promptly during evenings and weekends
Evaluation:
This position will be evaluated periodically (at least every 3-4 months), where the efficacy and timeliness of the carrying out of responsibilities will be examined.
Hours and Pay:
This part-time exempt position.
Evenings:
Mon, Wed, Thu: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Sat – Sun: 9:00am – 12pm
Pay: $20–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
